3 Jun 2006 - 2006 Donkey Derby is a Hot Spot

The 11th Annual Donkey Derby was held on 3 June 2006 at Eling Recreation Ground in Totton.

Blue skies and temperatures in the mid-20s brought crowd flocking to the event run by the 4th New Forest North (Eling) Sea Scout Group

BBC TV Weather Presenter Alina Jenkins opened the event, which have accounted for the almost perfect weather.


Eight fun filled races amused the huge crowd while side shows and stalls ensured plenty of money was raised by the group for it's new Headquarters building alongside Testwood Lakes
