The Troop proudly bears the name of HMS Warrior - now preserved in Portsmouth.
Whilst members enjoy the normal Scout activities there is also a strong emphasis on nautical skills, including swimming, dinghy sailing and canoeing - see the programme below. The troop meets every Thursday night in Totton at 7pm. Boating activities will normally be at Testwood Lakes. The Scout Section is for young people, both boys and girls, aged between 10½ and 14 years.

Details of the 2008 County Competitions and events for Scouts and Explorer have been published. contact the Scout Leader if you want to take part in any of these events. See link at bottom of page for full details. The Scouts enjoyed a great evening at the RNLI Lifeboat Station at Calshot. Thanks to the crew for their time in showing us round and asking the many questions, and to HM Coastguard for the demonstration (eventually) of a flare!!!
